I once tried to get the range of the different shotguns of clear sky depending on the ammo.
The value uses the same units as the crosshair, you can turn on an option that displays it in the menu of the game.
Sawed off
17.5-buckshot
35-bullet
55-dart
Hunting rifle
35-buckshot
70-bullet
100-dart
Chaser 13
25-buckshot
50-bullet
80-dart
for comparison:
pmm range is 30 (9x18)
kora range is 50 (.45)

Minecraft farming guide
In minecraft, you can farm to get food.
I write this article about farming because I went on bad basis using the documents i found on the internet.
To start farming, you need to prepare the land, and get seeds.
For both, you have to craft a hoe: (make a lot, it breaks very fast)
For the land, a shovel and a bucket may be useful.
Crafting a bucket:
Prepare the land :
The land is made of dirt, and it needs water near it. The dirt blocks must have a water block 4 blocks far maximum, straight or diagonal.
This drawing represents the most effective way to organize your land :
The brown squares can be dirt or grass.
Put the water first or your soil will dry.
After you made it the way you want, take a hoe and with you right click you make soil from your dirt. Beware to walk in sneak mode (shift) when you are on soil to avoid destroying it.
Get seeds:
Maybe you had some seeds while doing your land, but you certainly need more. The best you can do is to make soil from grass everywhere around you. If there is no water near it, it should become grass again after some time
Then you can plant your seeds with right click on your soil and wait until it's time to harvest.
When you have weed like this, even a single block, you can harvest it with right click, you will get more seeds, and wheat.
With wheat you can craft bread:
The advantage of wheat is that you can stack 64 units, which makes it very useful to carry with a craft table.

Trackmania Nations Forever shadow bug
Trackmania had some problems with my radeon, there were shadows everywhere. Depending on maps, it could be ok, or too disturbing to be playable. Here is a screen of a map where it's just too much :
When i saw this i decided to seriously look for a solution, and finaly found it ! Now the game looks perfect :)
If you have the same problem you may want to download the patch HERE
And if you don't know Trackmania Nations but like racing videogames, you can donwload it HERE ( where it's written "download and play for free" or "téléchargez et jouez gratuitement" on the right)

Screenshots 3
Some more screenshots
For the moment I don't have time to use my new radeon, just tried it in some games to see the result, and it's very nice, I took a screen in Metro 2033, it is one of the best-looking games of this year.
It could look even better, tessellation isn't activated (Vista won't install directx 11, have to check what's wrong)
The next screenshots are from Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, took them with my old geforce
Plus bonus video from coconut cart game : the shitting cart (i'm not the author of it)

Coconut cart game
Coconut cart was made for an advertising campaign, and this game is great !
In this flash game you have to build a cart with lines, dampers and wheels. And the aim is to transport the coconuts to the other side of the level as fast as possible. The best thing is that you can do anything you want with the cart editor :)
It was removed from it's original location but you can play it HERE

New graphic card
Today I received my new graphic card, a radeon 5830. Before, I had a Geforce 8800 gts 640 so that's a big difference !
I did a benchmark on Crysis, very high 1680x1050 dx10 64bit
8800 gts : min 11 ; max 16.7 ; avg 14.9
5830 : min 18.6 ; max 40 ; avg 32.7
I put some graphic mods a long time ago, so the results may not be the same with Crysis vanilla.
With the geforce i could get the game playable with some tweaks at high settings, now it's realy good. And Crysis is a "slow" fps, it does not require 60 fps like quake3 to feel good.

Minecraft beginner's guide part 2
Link to part 1
CHEST
The chest is very useful to store things, you can craft it with wood :
Then place it like a workbench
You can also make a large chest by placing 2 small chests togther
It does not make them store more things, a large chest has the same capacity as 2 small chests.
MINING
A good way to mine is to dig some kind of stairs to the bottom of the world, where you can find rare ore, just beware not to mine right up to your head, there might be sand or gravel in the upper block that falls when there is nothing under it, and do not dig under you also, there are a lot of caves.
ORE
In the game you can find different kinds of ore: iron, gold and diamond.
Gold is not very useful, tools made of gold are as weak as wooden tools.
Iron makes stronger tools than stone, and diamond tools are even better.
This is what iron blocks look like:
To mine gold or diamond blocks, you need an iron pickaxe or better, trying to mine those blocks with a stone pickaxe will simply destroy them without adding it in your inventory.
While mining diamond directly drops diamonds in your inventory, mining iron or gold only gives you ore blocks, to get a material you can use for crafting, you need a furnace.
FURNACE
You can craft a furnace like a chest but with stone :
Then to use it put coal in the lower part and an iron block above it :
With a furnace you can also cook meat, or produce glass from sand. If you lack coal, you can replace it with wood.
ARMOR
You can craft armor pieces from gold, iron, diamond and leather. Leather is obtained by killing cows.
There are 4 different armor pieces : helmet, chestplates, leggings and boots.
There are still a lot of things to tell, but this is just a beginner's guide that explains enough to enjoy the game :)

Minecraft beginner's guide
This article is a starter guide for minecraft and tells the basis of surviving in this world.
Just select an empty world and let the game generate the map.
You start at your spawn point, you will spawn there if you die.
The first thing you need is wood, look for trees and cut some blocks of wood with your hands with left click
Once you have some wood, look for a nice place to live, a place with some stone is good as it will allow mining during night without being annoyed by monsters. You will be able to dig a house easily with a pickaxe, so let's start crafting.
The tree will allow you to craft objects. Open your inventory with 'i', there is a 2x2 crafting area, put your tree blocks in it. The lower part of the inventory is for items you can access while playing.
The "4" on the produced object means that for every 1 block of tree you produce 4 blocks of wood. Click on the produced object until you have no tree block left.
The workbench has a 3x3 crafting area, that allows crafting tools. To produce it, make a 2x2 square of wood. To split a stack of wood in 2 equal stacks, right click on it.
Put your workbench in the lower part of your inventory and place it with right click while it's selected. You will be able to move it later if you want.
The most important tool for the moment is the pickaxe. To make one you need wood and sticks. You can craft 4 sticks by placing 2 pieces of wood verticaly.
Then, you can make a pickaxe with sticks and wood like this :
With this pickaxe, you can dig stone that makes better tools that work faster and last longer. Dig the stone so that it makes a kind of room.
If you want to put your workbench in you room, destroy it and it will go back in your inventory.
Here are some tools you can make:
The axe
The shovel, very useful for mining as you will sometimes find dirt and gravel.
The sword, because there are things to kill.
Before night, you need some torches, they are made of a stick and a piece of coal. Coal blocks look like stone blocks but with black parts, look around you to find some.
And use it to craft torches
One last thing before the night falls, you need to close your house. Use the stone left in your inventory to close tour entry until there are just 2 blocks left
You can craft a wooden door with a 3x2 vertical rectangle:
And place it by looking on the floor where you want it to be.
It will open when you click on it.
That's all for the first part of this guide.
